Travel
Our Travel Teams are competitive in the Western New York region and beyond. Players will be pushed to improve skills while maintaining a love for this sport. If your child has ambitions of high school hockey or beyond, this is the program for him or her. WYHA Travel Teams at the U12, U14, U16, and U18 levels may elect to be "Tournament Bound" (TB), i.e. to compete for the chance to attend the New York State Championships at the Tier II level (or AA) in March with the possibility of qualifying for the National Championships in April.

In addition, Girls teams will play in Tournaments in the USA and Canada and possibly play scrimmages against teams in the Syracuse or Albany areas. Beginners
The Beginner Program is intended for girls and boys who want to learn to skate and play hockey. The program is designed to teach the participants the fundamentals of skating, basic hockey skills, and self confidence. The goal of the program is to have FUN while learning the basics of a great sport. The participants will be divided into several groups primarily based on skill level. Players without skating skills are Welcome! The beginner program is a prerequisite for Webster Youth Hockey's team based programs (Pony/6U, RWB/8U, Empire 10U & 12U teams). We recommend a minimum of two sessions (Fall & Winter), unless the child has extensive skating experience, before entering a team based Program.
